Jack Hou is the Founder and Principal Adviser of Wealth One Financial Services (富一贷), and a two-time winner of the New Zealand Top 25 Mortgage Brokers Award (2024 & 2025). With a strong background in commercial banking and strategic lending, Jack specialises in structuring tailored funding solutions for business owners, property developers, and investors — particularly in complex sectors such as retirement villages and commercial real estate.

Jack brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience across four international institutions, including senior roles at ANZ such as Head of International Banking and Regional Manager of Retail/Business Banking. He has led high-performing teams and built new business divisions across Auckland and Wellington.

Beyond banking, Jack has a strong entrepreneurial track record, having owned and operated two of Wellington’s busiest Subway franchises. This blend of corporate insight and hands-on business experience allows him to guide clients through investment growth with clarity and confidence.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Jack is a trusted adviser to a wide range of domestic and migrant clients across New Zealand.

He holds First Class Honours degrees in both Bachelor and Master of Management Studies from the University of Waikato and is a current Associate Member of the Retirement Villages Association.

John Liang serves as our dedicated Business Development Manager, focused exclusively on maintaining and growing client relationships across the Wellington region. While John is a former NZ Qualified Financial Adviser, he no longer provides financial or mortgage advice in his current role. Instead, he channels his extensive industry experience into cultivating new business opportunities and supporting our commercial and residential clients through strategic relationship management.

With a sharp eye for market dynamics and a strong network, John plays a key role in driving regional growth, deepening engagement with existing clients, and identifying partnership opportunities that align with Wealth One Financial Services' long-term vision.

Prior to joining Wealth One Financial Services, John built a strong foundation in the financial services industry, working as a qualified adviser and delivering tailored finance and mortgage solutions to a broad range of clients. His earlier career also includes senior relationship management roles at two of New Zealand’s major banks, where he consistently delivered results and forged lasting client partnerships.

Sean Hu brings a strong international perspective and over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in International Business from Monash University, Australia.

Sean has held key roles at one of Asia’s largest financial asset management companies and a leading financial leasing firm, where he gained deep expertise in financial asset management, asset restructuring, and financial leasing. His extensive hands-on experience in executing complex financial projects enables him to deliver significant value to our commercial and corporate clients, particularly in non-mortgage advisory services.
